This is an important job seeing that books, magazine articles, blog posts, white papers, grant proposals and more all need proofreading.
Some people get proofreading and editing mixed up but the two are pretty different. Editing involves checking the writing for grammar, syntax, and spelling and making corrections.

6. Transcription
Becoming a transcriptionist means that you’ll likely be working from home on your own. Transcriptionists take audio and video files and turn them into text.
