iWriter is a content mill with freelance writing opportunities worldwide. They have a database of 822, 459 writers with over 6 million articles written to-date. That should be proof enough that this is a legit freelance writing company!

You will start as a standard writer and make a few dollars per article. But, as you advance and get better ratings and rankings, the amount you make per article will also increase.
