Are you looking for work from home transcription companies that will allow you to make money online?
I have a list of the best transcription companies to work for in 2018, and the best part is that they are hiring worldwide.
A good number offer general transcription jobs for beginners but others need experience.
But, before I give you the list, I would like to recommend a really awesome Free 7-Lesson Mini Course that is suitable for work from home typists just like you. It will get you on the right track and shorten your learning curve. So, check it out at Transcribe Anywhere.
When applying to these companies, each one will have their own set requirements. Among them is having a computer in good working condition, high-speed internet connection, a high quality noise-cancelling headset, Express Scribe Pro Software and a Foot Pedal.
The pedal is optional, especially for beginners, but if you have some experience, I would encourage you to get one. You will type faster and have an awesome transcription experience. A bundle of a headset, foot pedal and express scribe pro software goes for $100 or less over at Amazon.
Work From Home Transcription Jobs
Entry Level Transcription Companies
These are general transcription jobs for beginners. So, if you are new, I encourage you to start here.
Scribie is a great starting point for beginners. They will hire you even if you don’t have prior transcription experience. They have shorter files, 6 minutes long to be precise, and they pay $1 per the 6 minutes transcribed. You must have a PayPal account for you to qualify.
Many people have had great experiences with Rev, including me. I worked for them for close to 2 years and I can’t say enough about them. They have 24/7 workflow and they pay on time every single week. They pay Monday for work completed the previous week.

A transcription company similar to Scribie and Rev. The only difference is that their files are a bit shorter. They range from a few seconds to a few minutes long. They also pay on a weekly basis via PayPal.
They have both translation and transcription opportunities. It’s among the newest transcription companies around but they are legit and pay on time too.
